James "Jimmy Jam" Harris III and Terry Lewis are a Grammy-winning American production and songwriting duo from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founding members of The Time, they went on to build Flyte Tyme Productions and shape the sound of contemporary R&B through work with Janet Jackson (Control, Rhythm Nation 1814, janet.), Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, Usher, and dozens of others. They have produced more Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles than any other production team.
